John Averill of Hinton has produced an amazing film about two miracles that took place there, “Angels at the Altar.” It tells the story of an English war bride that took a picture of a local altar one Christmas, showing angels.
Years latter, she died on Christmas Eve in the same church. The story is very touching irrespective of the angels, but it does add a religious aspect that has seldom been shown in a WV film.
