Jacob Young is most famous for directing “Dancing Outlaw.” He has also made many other films including one that was finally shown at the Nashville Film Festival – “Urim and Thummim.” The film was also shown at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam but that’s about it.

I told Jacob I would like to see it – and possibly show it in Charleston. The Jan. 2, 2008 Village Voice film critic Jim Ridley chose it as one of the “ten best missed  films of the year.”  Congrats to Jacob – despite being fired from WVPBS he has continued to have a productive career, currently working for WVU Television.
