Rewriting history – with mayhem!

Fresh on the heels of his success with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies comes Seth Grahame-Smith’s newest take on, um, I’m not sure what, exactly, but here is the book trailer:

(For the faint of heart – just go ahead and skip this one.  It’s got some very fake but quite gory gore.)

abraham-lincoln-vampire-hunterThat’s right, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter!  It combines the hotness of vampires with the raw power of the Emancipation Proclamation!  Actually, I have no idea if it does those things; it just came out this week so I haven’t read it yet.  But if Grahame-Smith’s previous efforts count for anything, I’ll definitely try this one.  P&P&Z was pretty funny, and exactly what the subtitle promised: the classical Regency Romance with ultraviolent zombie mayhem.  Not for purists and not for the faint of heart (although I am pretty gore-averse and I did OK), but very strange and very fun.  What more could you ask for?
