Leaving a legacy for tomorrow’s anglers

kidtourney.jpgThe Future Fisherman Foundation has come up with a novel idea that, if successful, might help create a whole new generation of tournament anglers.

Called “Tournaments for Tomorrow,” the program asks fishing tournament organizers to charge anglers a few bucks extra to compete in their tournaments, and to donate the money they collect to Tournaments for Tomorrow.

The money would then be used to fund youth-oriented fishing programs such as Physh EdHooked on Fishing — Not on Drugs, and the Boys’ and Girls’ Club’s C.A.T.C.H. initiative.

Details on the program are available at The Outdoor Wire.
