U.S. EPA officials have issued an advisory to the media that EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson will be having a press conference in about an hour to discuss mountaintop removal coal mining.
No official word from EPA about exactly what Jackson is going to announce, but recall that a few weeks ago, agency officials delayed the issuance of a more detailed plan for how they plan to reduce the environmental impacts of mountaintop removal.
