PATH has always been about greed, not need as has been clearly demonstrated by the intervenors and expert witnesses involved in this case. Morris says demand is down 30-40% this year and it seems AEP may be betting on plug-in hybrids to save the industry. The article also seems to indicate AEP may be throwing in the towel on PATH for now, but will re-file later.
